Jungle, waterfalls, Knuckles mountains and much more

The first to be built, in 2010. Perched high-up and made of wood with a large balcony, commonly called “Tarzan’s Tree-House” - 3 beds, jungle canopy (tree-top) view, 30 meters from the restaurant.





1. The Wood Cabin

Made of clay brick - baked at site, with veranda - 4 beds, jungle view, 50 meters from the restaurant.

2. The Brick House

Made of clay with wooden balcony – 3 beds, jungle view, 90 meters from the restaurant.

3. Parrot House

Made of clay with wooden balcony – 3 beds, jungle and lake view, 150 meters from the restaurant.

5. Upper Lake View Lodge

4. Lower Lake View Lodge

Forest View Cottages

These 2 lodges are the newest addition to Polwaththa. Ready by the end of November 2017,made from cement bricks and covered with clay with a wooden balcony –  each lodge will have 2 beds, 85 meters from the restaurant. The lodges are 15 metres apart.

The Corner Lodge

So called for the remoteness. Made from cement bricks and covered by clay with veranda – 2 beds, jungle view, 500 meters from the restaurant - guard provided for this walk, kitchenette - mini fridge and electric kettle. Option to have meals at our affiliated village home 100 meters away or be served by them in your room for a nominal extra charge. By staying here, you will be directly contributing US$ 10,- per night to the Forest Healing Project.
